Through this website we are creating a focus of information that includes historical background materials, and information on where to go for further resources.
The Society does not have an archive of its own, but it is able to put people in touch with local archives and collections for further discussions about materials, items and images.
The Society produces some of its own materials, such as the Rowntree walks leaflets (currently being rewritten), and film and photographic materials.
Occasional pieces of work (often unpublished) with a Rowntree connection are sometimes made available to us, and we publish these through this section of the website with the owner’s permission.
